Rented this one last night. Think Kick Ass meets James Bond. Cartoonish violence that’s very well done (Matrix like), great cinematography and fun quirky dialogue and characters. The chick with the swords for legs (Sofia Boutella) is OMG pretty. Suspension of disbelief a must to enjoy, but a fun movie. I’d give it a B+.

Great movie. And sneakily right wing in a way that isn’t often seen. I’d give it an a-
I saw it in theaters and went in with minimal expectations, ended up having a great time. It was just an enjoyable film.
Been on my radar for awhile as I’m a huge Bond junkie, will have to rent it now that is released on disc.
I have yet to see this, but I have heard nothing but really good things.
I thought it was a great movie! B+ is my rating as well.
I enjoyed it and yes it had a bit of a right wing message in there.
Watched this with my wife and daughter, all three of us found it very entertaining. I would also give it an A-.
Saw it twice with the wife and then again with a buddy. It really made me want to move to Sweden. 
From what I hear they have already greenlit a squeal.
Interesting since is has that hemorrhoid SLJ in it.
I liked it.

Just ordered the movie and saw Sammy L. J. and now know who SLJ is.
Is he one of the super lefty hollywood types?
Since the vast majority of actors are leftys, I wouldn’t be surprised if he is one.
Yes he is; however, one mitigating factor:
He is OCD about proper grammar and is routinely critical of those who do not use English in the manner befitting. He apparently especially hates Ebonics. It wasn’t that long ago he took Obama to task for trying to lower himself to gutter language for the audience at hand.
And as is the case with most movies he’s in, he’s the least interesting and only annoying character. His part could have and should have been done by someone else. You know, someone who can actually act.
Watched it a couple of nights ago with the wife. We both really liked it. Interesting movie especially considering the obvious right wing message.
The wife and I enjoyed it also. Very entertaining.
SLJ definitely didn’t belong amongst the rest of the cast- Colin Firth, Michael Caine, Mark Strong, etc. some really good actors! And then we have Mr. Jackson who should be serving burgers and fries somewhere. Not making millions with his awful delivery/ shitty acting.
Although I will admit it was almost worth him being in the movie to see his ass die at the end…
His “leftism” aside, I think SLJ is a good actor.
I don’t know why some of you think he isn’t a good actor, but I’ll pay closer attention when I see the movie.
Perhaps, his skill has eroded…
