Review: Adams Arms PDW Upper

I have ran this upper for 4 months now and have accumulated enough footage to release this video. I am super impressed by it’s performance and everything I put it through. I am a piston convert now!

I’m sorry to hear that. :sarcastic:

Will from Red Jacket did say those Adams Arms kits are “game changers” haha. I have owned LWRCs and the piston MRP and they are nice to shoot suppressed. I have seen no real evidence of pistons being superior but its nice to have the choice.

I’m going to note that.

LOL! Yeah yeah. I still like my DI but my eyes are opened!

A 7.5" with a 3 port brake?

Can you still hear?

OP, you’ve made Marks list…

Works good for fighting from inside a vehicle!

HUH? WHAT? Speak up! lol.

Hence the suppressor

My question, as well. It must be running above 170 db, if not worse.

Another important question not addressed is carrier tilt. Supposedly, the “skis” on the Adams carrier addresses this issue, but I rarely see anyone post a picture of their buffer tube demonstrating that it does. Can you please do so?

I believe many of the big name guys will say the super short guns run better with the pistons.

I’m not going to lie, I skipped right over the talking portion and went straight to the shooting portion of your video.

Sweet… please do

What kind of ammo are you running out of a barrel that short to be impressed by its effectiveness? I’ve not seen much good said about sub 10.5" ballistics in 556.

I won’t pick sides on the DI vs Piston debate, however I have an AA 10.5 and got it to give it a try, it’s ran flawlessly, and is very reliable. AA gets a bashing sometimes, but the upper has performed IMO.

LOL yeah some people do. I try and keep the dialogue to a min and squeeze as much info in as I can.
