Reuse gas tube pins?

Can I reuse old gas tube pins, or do I need to use a new one?

You can reuse them most of the time but all roll pins are really designed as a one time use item.

To the best of my knowledge every armorer course that I have attended say do not use re-use roll pins. Roll pins for a gas tube cost about $2.00 so why not just replace it rather than run the risk of a problem?

I completely agree with Iraqgunz. But if you must, just scan it for damage or weak spots and make sure it’s still tight through the hole. I reused mine and it held up fine even in full auto.

I just hate having to order one $2 part, because then I end up ordering a bunch of other stuff I “need.” :smiley:
