replacing trigger group in daewoo

i understand this is same as ar,s. i`ve never done it. what to expect ? note this is in connection with adding a folding stock on a dr 200 to be 922 compliant. thanks for any tips.

It’s pretty straighforward. The AR-15 parts are direct replacements. Replace all three components with US parts, even if you don’t need the parts count. All ROK parts are great, and all US parts are great, but mixed seems to cause bad triggers for some reason. Since you’ll have all of it out anyway, it’s just as easy to do it right.

The Daewoo pins have to be used. They are the same diameter of AR pins, but they are longer because the Daewoo lower is thicker walled.

Springs, etc. are all the same otherwise.

If you have to take the selector out there is a set screw that holds the spring and detent in place. So when you take off the T-hole, you won’t loose any of that. It’s just a hex head set scew that holds the stuff in rather than just being held in place with the PG as on an AR. It makes taking the PG off and putting it on less fiddly than with an AR.

There are US gas pistons, charging handles, and some other parts that count available so there are numerous ways to get the parts count correct.
