Replace the Tritium in an older ACOG?

Like me, some of my gear is getting older. :frowning: My TA01NSN, purchased in the mid to 1990s has completely lost the tritium lamps. I know they can be replaced, but I’ve heard it’s very expensive. The scope is fine otherwise and has served me well.

Has anyone done this recently and considered it worth the $$$, or should I just consider it a backup / daytime-only scope and move on?

Thanks.

Inquired a coupla years ago and the going rate was in the $300 range - didn’t have the coin then and don’t need to now.

Good luck
