So i’ve been running a SKD pig with tap gamma’s for 2-3 years now at the range and at classes. Love the thing. Yesterday i was bored playing with it and i rediscovered another pocket which contained a 1/4" foam pad. The pad goes between your body and the plate and theres one on the front and one on the back.
I was curious so i took them out and wore my carrier around for a while. It was still extremely comfortable and i had no pinch points. The whole packege was slightly slimmer as well. Is this a terrible idea? Does anyone else remove these pads? Thoughts??
