So, I haven’t been following any of the history associated with Remington - so I’m behind the curve.
I now find myself interest in the V3 Tactical (assuming I can track one down), and want to know a little more about the “new” company and, most importantly, whether or not there will be decent support if needed.
Any chance anyone has a link to a source that might explain all of this (and I’ll keep searching, obviously:)
Plan B would be some opinions as to how this might play out with RemArms(?).
In the most recent bankruptcy liquidation Marlin was acquired by Ruger and Remington went to Round hill group LLC. I don’t know anything about Round hill group(never even had heard of them till now). But Remington rifles have been hit or miss since Cebrus capital acquired them in 2007. Reports are that quality control had been a total crap shoot, some rifle are great and others not some much. All my Remingtons are pre 1990 vintage so I have no personal experience with new ones. As far as parts support there is a huge aftermarket for Remington rifle actions, I assume the V3 tactical is based on the 700. Parts should be no problem.
