As many of us know, Remington is coming out with a new modular handguard system. The new Medal of Honor: Warfighter game coming out has a youtube channel dedicated to it with little clips of apparent “Tier 1” operators doing some things. Well, as one may note. This is an HK416 with the Remington RAHG handguard. I thought it was interesting to see it in use in some way.
It seems this guy has what looks like an IR Luminator, camera, or light on the bottom forwardmost portion of what looks like a 10" barreled gun.
Call me old fashion, but seeing something in the wild is different than seeing something in the latest and greatest first person shooter video game…this place is for real rifles, and anti-vaporware.
On a side note, Geissele actually makes a modular replacement rail for the HK416 in real life, not sure if it’s in Call of Duty yet though:
Not in the wild. Although I’d like to see how many photos guys can pull up of the RAHG being used in any way whatsoever. This is the 416 variant which I’ve not seen at all. I’m fairly sure not many folks have seen it either. Needless to say, the RAHG is not available yet. Sorry for wasting folk’s time none the less.
I did “hear” in a video with one of the Hotac guys that the Geissele was actually in use by people who do work. I can’t say that’s true.
