From the description, reminds me of the M870’s the USCG utilize.

Yup, from the USAF PDF linked in the OP they mention 14" barrels.

I work on an AFB and saw a Security Forces dude last week with a pump 870 w/ 14" barrel and some sort of AR stock looking adapter.
