I have a Rem 870P I bought about a year and a half ago and have shot maybe 500 rounds so far.
I took it to a shotgun class and as soon as I pointed it at the first target, the front site (NS) fell off. I pushed it back in and was able to secure it with red Loctite.
Will this red Loctite hold for an extended time or should I find another fix?
Did the night sight slide out of the dove tail cut? If so, the factory recommends using Loctite #380 black max in the gap under the sight.
I just got through with an armorer course and that is exactly what is in the books.

You can also pean the metal down onto the front sight with a punch and hammer which will allow adjustments to still be made.
