I am looking at the White Oak tuned RRA 2 stage trigger. Would this trigger be as reliable as a milspec trigger? Would you trust it on a defense gun?
No.
And not because I have anything at all against White Oak.
I think stock triggers are fine for “defensive” or “fighting” guns.
Some people want that light trigger though. I prefer light triggers for shooting CMP and benchrest…everything else I will take something that needs a stronger pull…especially if that means moving in and out of cover and moving to and from positions.
