Apologies in advance if this has been covered, but is it the consensus to utilize BLUE loctite on the (4) lower attachment screws and the set screws? Thanks.
I haven’t needed to use loctite on the slotted screws, but I use blue on the set screws that bite into the barrel nut. The slotted screws have plastic crush washers that work pretty well in keeping them in place. I swapped out the slotted screws for some flat socket head cap screws because I hate them and just transferred the washers to the new screws.

There is threadlocker on the set screws from the factory however I would mark them and if they loosen tighten back up.
What size screws did you use to do this?
Can’t recall, I think I grabbed them out of the 10-32 x 1/4" long bin. I used 18-8 SS screws instead of phosphated or black oxide coated.
gotm4 knows the size better than I do, he’s replaced a lot more than I have.
