Looking to have my Operator barrel lose some weight, bout half a pound. Who would you guys recommend to do the work? And what method, e.g., dimpling, fluting, would be the most efficient? Plus, are there any cons to doing this to a barrel?
The cheapest way is to reprofile under the handguards to .650".
Is that a gov profile diameter? If so, I don’t want to go that thin. I kinda want to keep it medium-contourish. Sorta like the Noveske N4 light barrel, but a tad bit more. What’s the diameter of the Noveske under the handguards?
