I tried searching for counterstrike and got nothing. My guess is because this is a brand site. I’ve posted a link below. I was curious if by chance anyone had a chance to you use one. The reviews on BassPro.com seemed ok, along with some youtube videos seem ok. I figure the price is right. I currently have a Redfield Revolution 2-7x33 and really like it. I’ve got it mounted a Leopold QD mount. I figured I could switch them out as needed, depending on what I would be doing. So if you got any thoughts please share.
Just ordered mine from midwayusa today. I couldn’t find any reviews either.
My intended use is for a 10/22 that I have a suppressor coming for in September. There are no iron sights on my 10/22.
Originally I had ordered a hawke 1x crossbow scope because it had an etched reticle, but would also illuminate, but the 1x hawke actually seemed to make stuff look further away than it was, so I sent that back and went for a counterstrike. If the counterstrike had a reticle that didn’t have to have a battery, it would be even more appealing. Either way, I took the plunge. I should be able to post commentary then…I have high hopes though.
Mine has been shipped and I will get it on the 28th. I won’t get a chance to take it to the range until the next weekend.
So there are a few of us sitting around wondering if this thing is worth a shit? First one to a decent review wins!
Thanks guys for the info. The only thing I"m really concerned about is the laser interfering with the front site post, so far that is the only complaint I’ve read.
I’m hoping once I thread the spectre ii on this beast, the laser will clear it. I’m still hesitant to go battery power solo. If the reticle was etched it’d be extra sweet. Not to hijack the thread, but does anyone have any ideas for backup sights?
Just got mine today. Won’t get a chance to try until the weekend.
Comes with a CR123 battery and a allen wrench:

I didn’t think I’d get the dot, but here is the green. Also has red:
Here is the laser:
Laser hits front sight when up. Will also hit a fixed front sight:
Laser is ok when front sight down:
I didn’t measure, but I’m going to say that the Redfield is the same height as the Aimpoint:
Just got mine in today too. Seems to be well built. Push buttons work nicely. not to stiff, click positively. One tap for red, another brief tap for green. the laser is a nice top off. Even though my 10/22 has a weaver rail mount, I was able to make the counterstrike, with its picatinny mount, fit by filing a groove a bit bigger on the weaver mount. Time will tell how we’ll this thing will hold up.
On the 10/22 it still leaves plenty of room to work the bolt charging handle. (If anyone looks closely, no, there is no bolt in the pic. Que has had it for about a week doing his magic.).
I would say the counterstrike is easily on par with a vortex strike fire.
Tomorrow ill snap some pics of it next to a ta33 acog, for grins.
I didn’t get a chance last weekend, try this weekend (daughters due for the baby this week.(wife is like…"don’t take the car in case I have to go to hospital)
Here’s how it compares in size to a TA33 ACOG. The red laser makes shooting with it extra fun.
I have one on my Armalite SPR Midlength, and I have been very pleased with it. It is very good quality (and no I am not comparing it with the expensive red dots), much better than the ones in its price range. Zeroing took less than 10 rounds, but I played with it some after zeroing. The green dot is perfect for my eyes. The laser hits the Troy front sight even when in the down position, so I am probably going to change it for the KAC Micro front sight.
I would buy another Counterstrike.
