Anyone using this belt? Wondering if it works with HSGI Taco’s? Considering it and an HSGI SGPB.
I was informed by RB1 that the don’t recommend Taco’s with it. Still wondering if anyone has used it?
I looked at it pretty hard as I want to run something a bit more low profile than my current HSGI SGPB but still retain a minimalist first line set up. I had it narrowed down to either this or the TYR gunfighter belt but the more research I did it became apparent that neither of these systems are inherently rigid in their structure and design, atleast for my purposes which include pistol mags x2, AR mags x2, dump pouch, IFAK, small misc pouch, multitool, flashlight, and secondary weapon on a safariland UBL. Even less if I move the flashlight/multitool/misc pouch to my carrier.
So that being said something more along the lines of a duty belt style set up would work better. I also want some way to attach the outer belt to my inner belt to keep everything in place. The SGPB does this well but at the expense still being a little bulky.
All of those factors considered the best solution I’ve seen thus far for me is the Ares LE duty belt with inner belt system.

Sorry for going off on a bit of a tangent but hopefully that offers some insight to you on some level.
I’ve looked at the Ares options as well. The no go on Taco’s pretty much rules out the RB1 for me.
Could run a regular riggers style belt with these. Might work with the RB1 too.
