Redback One - 5-Day Level 2 Dynamic CQC Course (12-16 Montgomery Co, MD)

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The 5 Day (50hr) Level-2 Dynamic CQC course has been designed to teach military, law enforcement and select vetted Government Security Contractors the Tactics, Techniques and Procedures of dynamic close quarters room combat. Dynamic clearance forms the basis of all CQB tactics and is seen as the foundation of successful time sensitive close quarters combat. Dynamic clearance course is an essential training module that should be attended prior to other Redback One CQB courses such as Hybrid and Deliberate Clearance Courses.

Students attending this course will receive the most current up-to-date information and TTP’s via formal lessons from our instructor cadre who are former Special Operations, Counter Terrorist and Special Mission Unit personnel with extensive training and operational experience in the conduct of close quarters room combat and both domestic and off-shore hostage recovery.

This course format is an expanded version of our standard 3-day package and includes several modules from our advanced hostage rescue course.

Those who enroll for this course will be sent a complete course instruction that will detail administrative requirements. Students should arrive with all necessary equipment as per the course instruction. All participants should possess an open mind, be physically fit and maintain a positive attitude!

This course will be Simunition and Force on Force only and will be held in a 300,000 square ft office /training building located in Silver Springs, Maryland.

PRE-REQUISITES:
Requirements to attend this course: (There will be no exceptions.)

[li]Military Personnel will be required to present their current military ID card for inspection on Day-1 and prior to the commencement of the course. [/li][li]Law Enforcement personnel are required to present their Law Enforcement credentials on Day-1 and prior to the commencement of the course.[/li][li]Government Security Contractors are to liaise directly with our Director Of Training for vetting in order to register for this course. [/li][/ol]

WEAPONS QUALS: All students must be qualified in service/duty handgun and carbine and are to have attended a tactical training course in pistol and carbine conducted by their Unit, Agency or a reputable industry professional prior to registering for this course.

COURSE ELEMENTS OF COMPETENCY:

The following list shows the elements of competency for the Level-2 Dynamic CQC Course.

[li]Demonstrate weapons handling proficiency.[/li][li]Display situational awareness as an assault team member.[/li][li]Demonstrate leadership within a tactical environment.[/li][li]Employ dynamic close quarters combat techniques.[/li][li]Participate in live fire multi-room combat practice as part of an assault team,[/li][li]Participate in Close Quarters Fighting techniques,[/li][li]Conduct tactical operations in a darkened environment, [/li][li]Deploy Flash Bangs during multi-room combat,[/li][li]Participate in Hostage/Suspect Handling & Marshaling Procedures,[/li][li]Understand and Demonstrate Self Aid/Buddy Aid IAW TCCC Protocols for Care Under Fire,[/li][li]Communicate effectively as a team member.[/li][/ul]

The elements of competency for this course are considered Level 2, indicating that the member may be employed on the task, but only under supervision. The implication is that some other training must be undertaken for the member to become fully competent.

CLOTHING & EQUIPMENT:

You are to bring the following items of clothing and equipment with you on the course.

[li]Primary weapon with magazines, sling, weapon light, optic[/li][li]Secondary weapon with magazines, weapon light, holster[/li][li]Magazine carriers/ pouch (carbine & pistol)[/li][li]Assault Vest & Body Armor [/li][li]Duty belt[/li][li]Ballistic Helmet (with Velcro on rear)[/li][li]Fatigues/ duty uniform (must have Velcro on both shoulders)[/li][li]Suitable footwear[/li][li]Flash hood (FR fire fighter type)[/li][li]Assault bag (large gear bag)[/li][li]Knee and elbow protection (optional)[/li][li]Hearing protection (electronic preferred)[/li][li]Eye protection (clear & dark)[/li][li]Note book & pen[/li][li]Cleaning kit[/li][li]Water source[/li][li]Flashlight hand held[/li][li]Gas Mask & Bag (must be carried on the man)[/li][li]Assault Gloves[/li][/ul]

AMMUNITION:
Trainees will be required to attend the course with ammunition that complies with the training facility limitations.Only the following ammunition is permitted for use within the training facility:

Carbine - Simunition
Pistol - Simunition

Trainees should arrive with the following amounts of ammunition for each weapon:
