Red dot for deer?

I have some deer culling to do in a wooded area where 100 yards is a long shot. Would a 3 moa red dot non-magnified scope work for this? Thanks…

Red dot sights are great for deer hunting in areas where your shots are short range (i.e. 100yrds or less). What kind of rifle are you thinking about using?
