Did a search in the archive which turned up BCM links, which in turn proved to be out-of-date.
Asked an Army vet friend where he got his (they’re Colt single shield), but I guess Colt no longer makes them as of 2009. He mentioned trying the Brownell’s copy but said his experience with them is that they can be bent simply by squeezing them due to cheap polymer.
Can you please recommend a stout set of CAR-style/slim handguards? I’d like to replace the larger M4 HG currently on my carbine.
