I would like something similar but of a bit higher quality. My old one has holes in it. I leave a trail of ammo at the range.
I like the layout of the above version. 2 30 round mags in the front with extra compartments for pistol mags. Some of the “active shooter” rigs I have found are too big. Not looking for a duffel bag.
I have not seen that line in person. I have several from the Versipack line and others, and they are GTG. I have probably 8-9 of their bags at this point.
Not to derail the thread too much but since the thread has Will’s attention, I am looking for a small bag I can take with me to the gym that will hold a 1.5 liter bottle of water (or two), wrist straps, towel, maybe a shaker bottle and a nice covert pistol pocket. I am starting to see guys I have dealt with on the street at my gym since another local gym closed its doors… What say you, Will?
It holds water bottle, various crap (wallet, folder, phone, etc), and has a dedicated pocket with holster (sold separate but cheap) for a pistol. It’s a pretty good size. The size below it, does not have the water bottle holder etc.
Ah, that’s more gym bag in shape and may fit your needs better really. Maxpedition may have something like that, but will cost more and probably not needed for basic back and forth from the gym.
Looks like great stuff. Does not scream tacticool for those that want to be more low key on that. I wanted to take a closer look at the pics of the bags, but when I click on the pics I get "A username and password are being requested by http://www.militarymorons.com. The site says: “username is mm password is mm”
Ive had that PeaceKeeper bag since they first came out…for the price…it aint bad. But, first time I ever took it to the range, a plastic buckle broke, and I just read a couple days ago that’s a common problem. It is not USA made, it is China made. Im going to go ahead soon and get one of the other bags mentioned here.
Also- Im looking for a throw on magazine bandolier that will hold at least 4 30 round P Mags and maybe a couple 9mm/45ACP pistol mags. A water bottle pouch would be tits. Any ideas?
I have/use a Maxpedition Colossus. It’s pretty much a camera bag if anyone looks at it and you don’t have a ton of tactical stuff hanging off of it. I use two of their rolly polly’s (one on each side, use one as a dump pouch and the other to hold a klean kanteen) attached to two double side molle Mag pounches that remain empty and fairly unobvious when not holding mags.
My wife bought me the Maxpedition Fatboy Versipack as part of her wedding gift to me back in 2011. I’ve enjoyed it immensely. I carried it a lot during our trip to Universal Studios this past spring. I do wish it had the water bottle carrier on the side, but other than that, it’s been a great little edc and travel (carry on) bag. It’s held up well, and there’s plenty of pockets and pouches for organization. There’s also a zippered space for a pistol and Maxpedition’s ccw holster.
