Has anyone taking delivery on a very recently produced Colt 6920? Are they still shipping with the Rogers stock or do they ship with the original M4 stock?
Colt stopped shipping the Rogers stock a few years ago. My 6920 I picked up last September came with the waffle M4 stock.
Pretty sure they ship with the standard M4 stock now. I see them quite often at Walmart. Back in 2013 when I bought one they still had the Rogers superstock, not sure when it changed.
I don’t know if this has been addressed but what was up with Colt using the Rogers stock to begin with?
Having taken the Rogers course, it was humbling. Like really.
The instruction was excellent but the AR stock he made was pretty close to a CTR and not quite as streamlined IMO. I still have the original stock on my 6920.
They stopped using that crappy Rogers stock some time ago.

I like the Rogers stock. But yea, they stopped shipping with those awhile ago (at least a year).
Why was it crappy? I’m genuinely curious and not trying to question your expertise.
I’m wondering because i had one on a 6720 i used to own, and I didn’t mind it. Was it durability, looks, or something else?
Think people had issues with the QD sockets. Not sure what else. I know Grant doesn’t like them though.
