BCM has a steel QD end plate showing on their site. It looks like the Noveske just without markings. I haven’t seen them in stock yet. http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/AR15-M16-Receiver-End-Plate-QD-Steel-p/di-qdendplate.htm
The Noveske and the BCM would be my choice since they are steel. For aluminum QD end plates, check out Fortis Mfg at Rainier Arms in addition to DD’s offerings.
I have experience with the Daniel Defense, and the Noveske. Both are nice and well built. I’m sure the BCM is as well.
Personally I believe that the Tango Down PR-4 is a superior solution despite the size and weight. While yes, it’s nice that you can choose outboard or inboard mounting, it’s real beauty is the way force is applied to the RE as opposed to the end plate.
ETA: And you don’t have to break your factory staking/fuck with disassembling anything.

Yep, Tango Down PR-4. If it is good enough for Pat Rogers EAG Tactical Carbine, it is good enough for me.
I recently ordered the Noveske end plates, mainly because I could find them. Haven’t mounted them yet, but I have used this style before and it works fine for me.
I agree with this assessment of Gear Sector. Pretty remarkable online store.
I’ve never heard of a failure with the aluminum Daniel Defense end plate, but it seems like the kind of thing I’d want steel for so I’ve used Noveske on all my rifles.
I’ve moved away from single point slings completely. I found them uncomfortable in general and the Magpul sling in particular (MS2…I don’t know if the MS4 is any better). And I’ve gotten away from attaching at the endplate in favor of attaching to the rear of the stock. There are a wide variety of sling setup preferences. Leave room for yours to evolve. The Noveske endplate for a single-point sling is cost-effective, but don’t be surprised if you abandon it altogether over time.
I’m happy with my DD.
I went with DD over Noveske because I was building a DD SBR and wanted to keep it all the same.
It looked like a “thicker” end plate in the picture when I ordered online, but what came was their newer version, and a little thinner. About average end plate thickness.
