Saw this on the news this morning. Is this a result of vendors charging high because its the government…Kinda like a contractor pulling into a wealthy subdivision and increasing quotes?
Why are tax dollars buying ANYONE a fucking muffin or cookie.
When I work for a living, if I want a muffin or cookie I have to go into my own pocket for the money. Tax dollars already provide all those useless fuckers with a salary, I’d think they should be able to fend for themselves if they need a fucking muffin or cookie.
Government workers and welfare recipients have the largest sense of entitlement that I’ve ever seen and are one of the biggest drains on our economy.
Shouldn’t matter, let them pay for their own muffins and who gives a damn about price, except of course the person paying for their own damn muffin.
Agree 100%. I think we, as Americans, have given way too much to our representatives. Their problems and concerns are not that of the average citizen…and they should be paid the average Americans salary.
The only way to fix this type of shit is going through the budget with a chain saw, and actually putting laws into effect that don’t allow for this type of shit with stiff penalties. If I can go to jail for 10 years over a $200 stamp tax people need to be in jail over wasting millions a year of other people’s money.
And this type of shit is really common in the military, too. I was friend with our BN CMDR’s driver, and I was even offered the job at one point before he took it. Any time they had senior officers visiting or some conference or whatever else they had full catering with huge plates of expensive food bought on the local economy. There is so much bloat all through out government people departments should not be able to buy printer paper until they “get it” they are dealing with tax dollars not a visa with an unlimited balance you never have to pay back.
Don’t forget, too, this type of shit in RAMPANT in Congress. They get tons of money to put shit like on, and even Pelosi had a 100K + liquor tab while she was SOTH.

I am so tired of hearing people talk about tax increases to get us out of this mess that it gives me heartburn.
Atleast I can say this, the media is starting to really get a lot of the bad shit out about the potus finally! Even dems are coming out against the tax increase. Bill Clinton even mentioned it today in a speech that he made in New York. The republican party in congress needs to step up and be a little stronger in their fight against the democrats. They seem a little soft except for a few outspoken members.
All day I hear about serious tax reform from media outlets which is a step in the right direction.
It is going to take a long time to get this country back.

That, and some asshole Congresscritter probably sponsored a pork-barrel appropriations bill that mandated the agency by muffins from a preferred vendor who happens to be a big campaign contributor.
Remember, EVERY government agency was created by Congress. Any over-reaching regulation is the result of Congress abdicating its responsibilities to govern.
