Since the eotech has been out for a bit now has anyone had any issues with the battery life?
no easy to tell. i had a sample last April and i am still on the same battery. used it all year BUUUUT. but i am not shooting as much due to injuries.
it also turns off after 8 hrs and i have been leaving mine on always when i am thru to try to get a handle on battery life. i know the eotech bashing will begin it always does. i HAVE NEVER has issues and i have some with 20,000+ rds on the rds. not say the batteries lasted that long but never a failure. i know where over 600 units a year go out the door and only 5-6 hard failures.
but hey i didn’t sleep in a Holiday inn either
I’ve been using one a lot on deployment and haven’t had any problems. There doesn’t seem to be any battery drain when the unit is off and the batteries haven’t died on me. I do change batteries every week as PM because they’re are hundreds of them lying around here.
