I recently purchased some Glock 19 magazines from Natchez along with a spotting scope. They were advertised as real Glock magazines, but did not come in the little Glock magazine box.
The molding/logos look the same, and the little 6(or 9?) on the followers appears to be the same. However on the front of the magazine there is a rectangle cut out that shows the steel liner. None of my other Glock magazines have this, of course I bought all of the rest at the same time a year or two ago.
Anything to be concerned with? Just a different generation of magazine? Some sort of “ambi cut?”
I new G17 that recently came into my possession also came with three mags with similar cuts. They function perfectly fine in the current, non-ambi Glock pistols.
I’ve bought 10 Glock 17 and 19 mags in the last few weeks. Only one of the them came in an actual “Glock” plastic case. The only places I’ve seen these are at the larger stores like Cabela’s and Gander Mtn.
