Ready or not here I come!!!
You may have seen posts under my real name (Holden Kriss) here and there but now I have been the green light. I will be posting on a regular basis a blog column on M-4 Carbine and on Facebook.

But first a little background so you know where I’m coming from. I’m the business Development Manager here at WMD Guns. I’m a founding member of this team and one of the 4 here that created the “FailZero” and “EXO” brand when we all working a UCT Coatings. I’m also the manager of Indian River County Shooting Range in Sebastian Florida. My range is the largest use shooting range in the country with over 79,000 registered shooting using the ranges. Before I opened IRC Shooting Range I run Markham Target Range in South Florida another large public range. So I have more than 27 years experience in run large public ranges. I will be talking about just about everything from shooters on the range, what’s new, to politics.

I have just returning from the SHOT Show in Las Vegas and the AcuSport show in Ft. Worth. It seems most Firearms companies like ours are still very busy coming out with several new products and firearms. But even in the firearms industry no one knows what is going to happen with legislation on gun control. The talk is that Sen. Feinstein’s legislation is so extreme that it will not pass. In fact most industry people that I talked to said they where glad that she went off the deep end! It seems that she has no respect for any law abiding citizen who wants to own any gun. At the range everyone is busy buying guns and ammo as fast as they can. But what is interesting is I’m having a record number of new shooters use my shooting range. Most of those have never own a gun but are now buying guns then coming out to learn to shoot those guns. So with all the promises of a better life under Obama the truth is no feels safe or secure! In fact I see every day new shooter come to the range with AR’s. Several of these new shooters I would think would never own one of these AR rifles. As an example I had couple in their 70’s out yesterday with a new LWRC AR-15. They were both taking instruction from one of my Range Officers and learning to shoot the rifle. I asked the man why did you buy the AR and he
said “I always wanted one since carried one in Vietnam in the 60’s”. His wife said “My house has been broken into twice in the last 3 years. Thank god we were not home at the time of the break-ins but that could happen the next time”. She also said “We also purchased a Glock but we have to wait the 5 days to pick it up”. “But we will be back next week to learn how to shoot the pistol”. “Plus this is really a lot more fun than I though it would be”.

That’s it for now, Holden
