I think I’d be able to conceal a G19 more easily than a G17 AIWB.
Been playing around the the configuration of my Eidolon. Still haven’t found a set-up that works really well with my G17 for me. Tried it IWB a 3-4 o’clock and it really isn’t comfortable.
I think I’ll have to throw the Eidolon in the holster drawer until I can lose the weight that I need to lose to AIWB it.
For anyone that has both, how does this compare to the Raven ACR? I’ve been considering AIWB lately but can’t decide on a holster
Owning both-there is no comparison. The Eidolon beats the crap out of the ACR. Basically Raven took everything they learned from the ACR, VG2, and their other projects, and incorporated it into a single holster. The Eidolon package will give you a holster that is essentially infinitely configurable to meet the needs of your body type to conceal a weapon. So, if it turns out you are unable to run AIWB, you can change things around, and run it IWB otherwise, without having to sell it off, and buy a new rig.

I may pick one of these Eidolons just because it gives me the chance to try AIWB with my G19. If I don’t like it, I can run at 3 o’clock with the same holster.
I’ve returned mine within 24 hours.
My Ares Aegis buckle prints more than the gun. Not a big fan of the clips. The ability to carry at 3 o’clock feels like an afterthought compared to the core design to be able to carry AIWB.
Who’s still using the Eidolon? What are your thoughts after using one for a few months? Or have you reverted/moved on to X?
