The other day I was scanning various online vendors to find a LPK in stock. Not having much luck I googled “AR LPK” and RB Precision came up. I looked on their sight and it appeared that they had them in stock at $60.
I don’t know this vendor, I’ve never read anything about them or their parts, but I thought I’d call and see if they really had any. First positive: My call was answered by a person. Second Positive: She knew what she was talking about and informed me that they were waiting on Hammers to make up new LPK’s. Then she paused and said, “I do have a hammer here–I can get one kit together and send it out today. Would you like it?”
The kit was in my mailbox (Illinios to ND) in 2 days. I’m not a parts guru, so I can’t tell you that this kit is better or worse than any other maker. However, it went into my Mega lower with no assembly issues. All the parts were bagged in sub assemblies and the trigger, disco, and springs were assembled as was the hammer and spring.
The trigger pull is just as it should be and the kit passes the function checks. My only nit is the selector is a bit stiff, but it is smoothing out each time I cycle it.
Just thought I’d pass this along as I know many of us are looking for parts and these guys seem to have some as well as good customer service.
