This is a major bummer. I was really wanting one for my Gen 2 Glock 19. I’ve heard on the interwebs a few people that got them pre-release tried them on Gen 2’s without issue.
Tom can you elaborate on the possibility of the VG2 working with Gen 2 guns, possibly with slight modification of trigger guard? Or is it a big no-no for some safety concern and I should drop the idea and move on? Thanks for any input.
Thanks for the reply. I can’t find any Gen restrictions or recommendations on the original Vanguard, do you have any info on whether or not I might have better luck with that on a Gen 2? Thanks again.
I guess this was a silly question but as the VanGuard 1 and 2 appeared to have a slightly different design(the kydex trigger guard from 1 and 2 looked different to me :D) I went ahead and ordered the original VanGuard. Long story short it does not provide a good enough hold on the trigger guard for safe carry IMO, there is alot of play. Curiosity satisfied!
I apologize that I missed your question the first time. If you do not have a use for that VanGuard1 you ordered, please PM me and we’ll cover your return shipping to get it back for a refund.
No problem Tom. I didn’t mind being the guinea pig. I hope I didn’t come across as having something against Raven or you in my post, just wanted to get the info out there incase anybody else was having a hard time accepting no VG2 for thier gen 2 :cray:.
I appreciate your offer and will probably take you up on it if I can’t unload it on a friend later today.
Well I managed to miss out on the promo code, but I have been enjoying my Vangaurd 2 for the last few weeks now. I’m pretty impressed and it has quickly become my “go to” holster for my G26.
