Noveske 10.5" with and without suppressor…wow…umm yeah…only shoot WITH a suppressor. lol
That was the most fun I had at the range in a while.
Its amazing how much erosion there was on that brake after only 200 or so rounds.
Good times.
erosion? you mean corrosion?
Erosion, as in eroding the baffles on the brake and not the suppressor.
Correct. Many forget the short barrel does not enable effecient powder burning so you have powder effectively sand blasting your 1st blast baffle in the suppressor. Using a brake mount will lessen the wear on the suppressor and act as two sacrificial baffles before the blast hits the blast baffle in the can.
Much easier to replace the mount vs the can.:big_boss:
Wow, thats an amazing collection!
Thank you…I have a problem.:alcoholic: And I left prob half of the others at home that day.
Anyone else hate when you spend more time cleaning than you did shooting?
That’s why I won’t put my cans on anything shorter than 14.5". My M4-1000 07 model has 2000 rounds through it with the phantom style mount, and the blast baffle is a smooth as it was brand new.
^
I had it on a 16" with blackout flash hider before the SBR with the same amount of rds through it and I had erosion…Mines a 08…strange.
I have an unfired 08 in my safe… so I can’t say how it compares. My round count is what it is, but I really fire it at a mild pace. I never do mag dumps… although I’ve fired plenty of controlled burst fire with it.
Do the 07’s have a larger blast baffle bore diameter? I know they are flat vs the 08 cone type. Maybe the cone is closer to the muzzle…either way it still sounds great and with the break on it it helps take the initial blast.
Ooops you didnt log out at the station Adam.
Now that I logged in properly.
Damn expensive trip to the range though. An check in the mail for an SWR Trident 9 and soon to be followed by another check for a SilencerCo Sparrow.
I see more overtime in my future you douche.
Lololololololol:sarcastic:
