I fired 7 5 shot groups after getting the scope sighted in and after figuring out how to set up the zero stop. My friend fired 2 5 shot groups for me. He beat me with my own gun and got the .59 5 shot group. Ammo was Federal match with 168 grain Sierra Bullets.

He was playing with some loads on his 5.56 that I assembled for him. It did really well with a new load I am trying.

The load data is on the pic. This load has shot well in all of my guns. My friends gun has a 1/9 twist barrel and it still shot it well.

Anyway it was a great day at the range. I got the side mounted red dot on my rifle sighted in at 25 yards. The back up irons at 50 and the scope was zeroed at 100. The muzzle brake took a lot of the recoil and muzzle flip away and the gun was easy to keep on target. It also was not as loud and did not give me a headache like it did when I had it installed on my previous .308 carbine. On the rifle it is further out there from my head and the concussion did not affect me like it used to on the carbine.
Both me and my friend had issues with mirage and eye fatigue. When we looked through the scopes at first everything was shape and after a while the target and cross hairs would get blurry until we rested our eyes. What causes this? Thanks in advance. I played with the parallax adjustment while shooting. I thought it might be from the heat coming off the barrel in front of the scope. It was 28 degrees out.
