Range Finders

Any suggestions on a good/preferably compact range finder, I’ve never even used one. It’s really hard to mil stuff out over here. Most everything is mudhuts, obviousley you can’t use door ways and what not, and once you get out in the mountains there is NOTHING. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Nuff said.

The Leica is the only way to go, IMHO.

Anyone know anything about the new Leupold LRFs?

I have a Swarovski Laser Guide Rangefinder, it’s 8x power and is good for 1500yds and has 1yd accuracy.

I got mine through MidwayUSA for about $700 with my C&R FFL discount.

Thank you all for the advice. Very helpful.

Quality optics are important. I have a Bushnell that will read as far as advertised. The problem is that the optics are so bad that it is difficult to pick out targets.

I shopped long and hard before I bought my Nikon. They’re the biggest bang for the buck IMHO without any useless BS like some of the others. Good optics and good ranging period.

I have the LEICA 900 and love it.
