That was about as constructive as a colt/dd/bcm vs dpms thread…

Well never mind, out of stock. This is some BS, I can’t find a military grade bolt assembly in stock, anywhere.

Really? We have LMT’s in stock.

Thanks,

The rainier arms bolt is ok. I’ve used my “spare” a few times, no high round count on it. Held side by side with a spikes tactical parked bolt they are identical outside of the RA & ST marks. Maybe the same company makes the same bolts for several AR oriented operations.

I don’t know much about the LMT bolt assembly, does it meet military specs?

Do all of them meet the following specs?

Made of Carpenter 158 Steel
Match Grade
MPI Bolt (Magnetic Particle Inspected)
High Pressure Tested (HPT)
Shot Peened
Fully Machined 8620 Steel Extractor
Black Extractor Insert
Mil-Spec Manganese Phosphate Finish

Yes. We have sold them (on contract) to folks like the ones that killed OBL.

LMT are one of the best bolts out there. They used to be very sought after but now I guess they are not the flavor of the month so people forget about them.

I have a Rainer arms BCG but I have not but enough rounds through it to make a qualified statement.

Any bolt that COMES with an O RING installed is NO GO for Cocoa Moe Joe!!!

Even if it is Rainier.
