Rain shoot, and MSAR E-4

I went out with a bunch of co-workers for a range day in the rain and snow and ended up with another 1,200 through my E-4, the Jenny Marie. Without any problems Ran great, everyone who shot her loved it From 6 years old, to just…old! They all said how great she felt in their hands, how accurate she was(MSAR 1.5x optic), how easy she was to keep on target, and light recoil(with a Levang Linear Compensator). I agreed with them! Worked just fine in the rain, the optic never fogged. I could feel water spray through the ejection port cover and spray me when firing after letting it get wet for a while. Might have to put some 100mph tape there to cover the port.

One thing I noticed today, my first day shooting her without gloves, was that it burned my support hand finger from gas coming out the gas plug. Makes sense, I just never noticed it before. I might have to make a small shield to put on my 20/20 rail when I get it done.

All in all a great wet and cold time! And now the Jenny Marie has around 5 and a half thousand trouble free rounds through her

Nice! I know you from the BOHICA forums!

Very nice!!

Did you have your forward grip in the vertical or horizontal position when you were shooting?

Vertical

Nice. Sounds like a good time.

Just got a new Promoted Pawn rail in the mail today and put it on the Jenny Marie with an Eotech XPS and it’s even faster on target now!!!

Nice setup and it looks like you had a good time, even in the rain!
