Hey guys. AR newbie here, been looking and researching trying to decide what direction to go for my first, and maybe only, AR. I like the 6920 like so many others, but I am also intrigued and maybe leaning more towards the DD v7, mid/lightweight.
The DD does not have a FSB, and I would like to have iron sights, even though I plan to eventually add some type of red dot or similar optic in the future. I remember reading somewhere that a rail mounted front sight is an issue on a free-float rail because the flex of the rail could obviously affect the position of the sight, especially if using a sling for stabilization, etc.
If this is true, what are the other available options?
