What rail covers are you using and why? I am just trying to see what other ppl like. I am kinda leaning toward ladder rails. I have magpul xtm’s and there a little bulky.
Ladder covers offer no protection from heat, sure they’re the
lowest profile but no protection. I use magpul XTM’s , they’re
not bulky , offer some heat protection and don’t restrict cooling… like some covers (there, happy? :rolleyes: ).

That seems kind of contradictory.
I replaced my KAC panals with LaRue Index Clips. So far so good regarding heat protection, profile and overall feel.
Consider a good pair of Mechanix gloves from an auto parts store for 15 bucks and you can use ladder rails no problem.
Another reason I am liking the ladder rails is because of the look of dark earth rails with the black back ground. I understand looks isn’t everthing, that’s why I am asking.
It would seem you have posted multiple questions in many areas asking for answers to questions like is this in stock, what is better, should I get a red or green laser. Seriously dude, lurk, read, use the search function. If your only intention is to produce a “pretty snowflake” , or a “tacticool” safe queen to show off in facebook photos, maybe this site isn’t your cup of tea. Use the damn search function, and ask question of a more mature nature.

No I work in LE, so I don’t stock shelves at the local grocery. Seriously get a clue. If you want actual help fine, but at least make an attempt to find answers for yourself. I have the XTM’s; agreed, they do feel a bit bulky. I’ve been kicking around the idea of trying out some ladder covers.
