My name is Justin I joined this forum a few days ago. I noted many talented and informed users on here. Hopefully I can learn something!
I Have been exposed to firearms and hunting for as long as I can remember and recently purchased my first AR.
I have a Stag Arms Model 8 piston carbine. I want to put a 4 rail on it but I realize im limited on what the piston system will accept. I understand Daniel Defense and Midwest Industries Make a piston specific. My question is do I have any other options? Im very partial to the sampson manufacuring star C free float. Is it possible to mod this rail to fit over the piston? What is involved in replacing my plastic foward with a free float?
