Quick Post SHOT Show Update

As everyone knows, 2013 was a hectic period for the firearms industry. We received an order influx of unparalleled proportions, an increased demand in production, and a new course of action was called for. At SHOT Show 2014 we unveiled a streamlined model lineup. By simplifying production requirements, while still maintaining the innovation KAC is known for, production of rifles and accessories will be able to meet the increased market demand.

In order to streamline our production efforts as much as possible, we are working with our network of dealers to confirm each and every order placed. To aid in this effort, we ask that our customers contact the dealer with whom they placed an order to confirm the purchase. The dealers will then be able to provide, from KAC, the actual order number or reference number to the customer as verification. From there, estimated lead times will be able to be given with relative accuracy for the dealer to pass along. Please keep in mind; we cannot accurately give an individual customer this information without their order or reference numbers.

We are constantly monitoring what customers are saying, along with the industry trends as a whole, in order to provide our customers with state of the art designs. For this moment, the SR-15 Mod 2 and the SR-25 APC are the 2014 models that will be available, with the SR-15 Mod 2 the only available model at the moment, and as we re-evaluate production efforts and product demand, the line will expand. We sincerely thank all of you for your business, your loyalty, and your continued support for KAC products.

Just a quick “what’s going on at KAC” update. Basically, what we’re asking is if you have a gun, suppressor, rail, or other widget on order with a dealer, contact them to confirm the order. Once our dealers contact us to confirm their orders, we will gather all of that data, and be able to quote fairly accurate lead times once we know exactly what is on our plate. We’ve made a lot of progress since this time last year, and by getting back down to the basics, things will be looking up on the production end. Keep in mind, right now the Mod 2 is the only rifle available for the time being. There will be some expansion on the SR-15 and SR-25 line at a later date. Honestly guys, speaking for EVERYONE here, we really appreciate the patience and support.
