1 quick question - I am pretty sure I know the answer, but I’d like confirmation before I spend the money…
are the buffer tubes between a DPMS 5.56 & 7.62 lowers interchangeable?
I have a DPMS AR-15 with a fixed stock & buffer tube and I am building a DPMS AR-10. If I buy a collapsible stock & buffer for my AR-10 can I swap that into the AR-15? Everything I’ve read says that they are interchangeable, but I want to make sure before I foolishly spend more money…

Interchangable but the .308 uses a different spring and buffer.
so the stocks are the same, but the buffer & springs are different?
Yes the .308 carbine buffer spring is much stiffer and the .308 carbine buffer is shorter than a 5.56mm carbine length buffer. The difference in length is due to the longer .308 bolt carrier.
