Questions for Burris Tac30 owners

For owners or users of Burris Tac 30 1-4 power scopes, I’ve read quite a bit on them but am left with two questions.

1. When turning the illumination on, does it stay at the last brightness setting or does it need to be adjusted every time?

2. With the illumination off, is the reticle still visible in a dark room that is lit by a weapon mounted 120 or so lumen light?

1. I haven’t paid close attention but I believe it stays at the last brightness setting.

2. Depends on exact facts, but generally yes. The reticle is big and opaque and easy to find when unlit.

1. Yes. It stays at the last brightness setting.
2. Yes, but illuminated would be a lot better if you have 2 seconds to hit the button.

1. Yes. Mine tends to go up or down a notch or two when I’m turning it off though.
