Does anyone know off of the top of their head what the thread size is for the elevation screw on a 590A1 ghost ring?

Reason I’m asking is because on my 590, both the elevation knob threads and the threads in the receiver that it mates up with are in pretty bad condition. Not sure how it got that way but I’m at least the second owner of this shotgun. I’ve very rarely messed with the sights on it myslef.
The goal is to try to salvage this by running a threading die over the threaded shank of the elevation knob and install a helicoil in the receiver threads. For that I need to know some details of what I’m doing since the existing dimensions I’m working with are too boogered to tell.

I believe the receiver is tapped 8-40 - so if I’m understanding correctly this should be it.
If that is the PN for the elevation knob, they seem to be quite hard to find without buying the whole rear sight assembly. I’ll likely end up trying to salvage the one I have.
