ok if i buy the 22 barrel and 40 cal clips will it work in my 17 slide i know the uppers will interchange and the frame stays the same
I know the ejectors are different.
The glock .40 barrel is bigger around so it wont fit in the hole of the G17 slide and the chamber is too wide for the breech face of the G17 slide. so No it wont work… You can put a aftermarket .40 to 9mm conversion barrel in a G22 but not the other way around.
you can also drop a complete (slide and barrel) upper on your 17 frame, with just an ejector and mag change.
given that uppers tend to go for ~350 dollars, probably would be more practical to just buy another glock.
