Would a commander size 1911 use the full size type shown here?

Or the compact one here?

They don’t list for specs, but going by looks alone, I was going to roll with the full size one, but I wanted to hear from you guys first.
I’m putting together a parts list, for a build for my brother. (Which I’ve mentioned in other threads.)
Full size as the CO frame is full size
As previously stated, Full Size/Government.
I prefer the S&A Magwell which is a one piece design although they take some work to get a nice fit and the checkering needs to be recut. I think they can be blended better to the existing frame to add a seamless appearance instead of an afterthought. Also, don’t forget to order magwell style grips sans the bottom 45 degree bevel.
If I was going for a duty build you might want to take a look and a Stan Chen Mag Suite. I’m in the process of installing two of them right now on a couple of builds.
I just wish I had the knowledge to post pics here to show you the differences but you could easily google up some images.
Magic,
As pointed out above, if you have a Commander sized blaster, you want the SpeedChute for a full sized frame. Enjoy!
