Question about Round v. Triangular Handguards

Is it possible to replace the round/ribbed style handguards on a STAG 15 Retro with Triangular Handguards? And if so, how?

If the front handguard clip is triangular you can if it is round it would have to be replaced.

Yes, you should be able to. Just simply pull back on the delta ring and remove the handguards that you currently have and replace them with the triangle handguards… So long as your rifle has the triangle handguard end cap (as was already mentioned) you should be good to go.

Having said that, triangle handguards will look a bit goofy on anything but a lightweight A1 profile barrel.

If you are indeed suffering with those FAT A2/M4 hybrid cheap commercial style handguards (as seen in the above picture) that so many lower end companies typically like slap on their rifles, then I’d recommend that you order a set of Colt/Windham Weaponry A2 handguards for a more correct look and feel.
