Hi. I bought a couple of used Larue Tactical SPR 1.5 LT-104 mounts and found out after the fact that they are 30mm instead of 1" that I was expecting. Can the rings be bought seperate or do I need to sell these and buy the 1" type off of Larue? Also, I read somewhere that you can get inserts that take the 30mm rings down to 1" but I can’t seem to find them anywhere. Any help you can offer will be greatly appritated. strier1@yahoo.com

You could try contacting Larue directly and see if they will sell you the rings for a 1" scope separately. I would think that would be a little more secure than inserts.

You could get the rings separately, or use the inserts. The inserts are a suboptimal choice, but effective for the majority of shooters.
I’m using the inserts on mine with no problems…would much rather have a nf 2.5-10 scope to use the rings alone but will cross that bridge later when I can get the wallet to comply.
