Basic question, who is selling quality detents at appropriate bulk pricing (100pk and the like)? 25c or less per detent seems to be a fair par price.

Not sure you are gonna find them at a quarter a pop. Your best bet would be wholesale direct from someone like microbest, but they are gonna give zero shits about selling 100. 10,000 and you might get their attention.
I can’t imagine why on earth you would need detents in that quantity unless you are manufacturing rifles or are looking to be a parts vendor. Either way you should be looking for wholesale direct, or as close to that as possible. Even 2nd tier wholesale you are probably looking at .40-.50 each.

Bulk I can find, some places like Tiger you need to be a “dealer” of their stuff.
OTS is ok, but pricing is still a bit on high side. 200pcs for $27, not bad. Quality and material does matter too. I see detents that are brass-like and others that are SS.
I lose small parts all the time, 100 detents is not a manufacturing process.
