QD swivel attachment & QD swivle recs - BCM vs Magpul vs ?

I know it’s splitting hairs, but anyone have experience with either or can recommend another brand?

The price differences are negligible.

I’ve used a number of non branded QD swivels and Grovetec with nary an issue.

Considering either the BCM or Magpul swivel attachment for MLOK
&
a pair (or 2) of QD swivels from:
Grovetec recessed version, ALG aluminum ($27) as someone on this board once mentioned, Magpul, etc

any thoughts or experience appreciated

I’ve never really thought much about them although I’ve got them on all of my carbines. I usually bought the Vltor branded QD’s as years ago the first set I bought looked good and always worked well so I bought them for the others. My stocks were CTR’s, followed by BCM’s and Centurion rails all with the cups so tha’s what I used.

I’ve used both BCM and Magpul QD swivels. I like the idea of the Magpul but I’ve found its not super easy to manipulate so I use the BCMs. The button is nice and low pro without being a pain to use. No experience with the MLOK mounts but the BFG UWL loop may be another option to consider. Very light with several color options and its somewhat flexible so it’ll move with the weapon slightly. I just got one today so no significant usage but I’m sure its solid.

I’ve been going through the same thought process
I’ve decided qds are too loud and heavy
Running doubled paracord proctor style

I’m currently running U-loops up front through the rail & threading the strap through the rear of the stock.

On Proctor slings the paracord is easy to use on almost any setup.

How are the QD loud?

If you’re talking about the Magpul QDM swivels, while nice, they are not as versatile as regular QDs, depending on location. For example, on my 9" SBR with KMR rail, I use the BCM QD mount on the 10:30 flat. Because of the top rail, there’s not enough room to comfortably get your fingers on the side buttons of the QDM. So they’re actually slower to remove.
