I was wondering if placing a one-piece QD mount, like a Larue or ADM bridging the upper receiver and handguard top rail, would cause damage to the mount. I know this is a no no for 2 piece rings but how about with a QD mount?
Im talking about a rail system that gives you a continuous top rail like the DD Lite for example and not a true monolithic type rail.
