There must be a lot of threads on this… I tried searching but on the phone the results aren’t proving fruitful. My bad for the obvious repeat… Feel free to link threads.
Burris PEPR from Amazon $84 prime … QD 1".
Why spend 2.5x for the LT104?
Love my larue mount on my t1 but wondering if it’s necessary to spend the extra coin on my VX-R mount.
Also not assuming this will be an issue but I want to clear flip down troy’s.
There is a reason the Burris is cheaper. It is a heavy, painted and probably machined from a casting. Larue is Larue. The room for a BUIS will depend on the eye piece diameter of the scope. Larue offers height options. Does Burris??? NO. It’s your bed.
Leupold’s website listing of their VX-R scopes, shows all of them having a 30 mm diameter main tube, which converts to 1.18". The 1" Burris mount won’t be able to fit. I don’t know if older VX-R scopes came in a 1" size. Just thought I’d mention it.
