This is how stuff will be made by the resistance!

Hopefully it makes up for not looking as good as a Khyber Pass gun by being of middling or better quality.

That’s positively elegant. Thinking of Garage Shop put me in mind of this project, however…

Nice. Reminds me of a museum I went to in Norway that had an old bicycle shop in it. The bicycle shop was air dropped by the SOE so that the resistance could make NAZI bikes in the day and crank out STEN guns at night.

Awesome!
But does it work?

I bet it does. Thats almost steampunk looking. Cool stuff.

sent from mah gun, using my sights

Bingo, I think the Brits could turn out STENs for something like $5 per gun from nothing more than materials available at your local Ace Hardware. If the Afghans can turn out Enfield’s and Kalashnikovs in dimly lit Bedouin hovels just imagine what an American resistance could yield.

So THAT’S what Obama meant by, “shovel-ready jobs!” :sarcastic:

Very smart and handy people, with a lot of time also.

That was awesome! Thank you for sharing.

I personally know several experienced machinists. The ingenuity and resourcefulness of some of the mechanically inclined folks amongst us can be truly mind-boggling.

Hmmm. Add some color casehardening like on an old Colt revolver, and that is what it would look like.

Actually, that would look pretty damn interesting, too.
