PSA rifles

This was my 2nd PSA rifle. It will be chambered in 300aac with a 11.3" Wilson Combat stainless barrel when the SBR paperwork returns.
It started with a stripped upper and lower from PSA, Midwest Industries gen 2 SS 12" rail, Magpul CTR stock, MIAD grip, and trigger guard in FDE. I Duracoated the firearm with Magpul FDE.
The only things lacking are the barrel, gas block, suppressor mount, and optics.

Here’s another pic after the Duracoat

Are you leaving the furniture a different color? it looks a little darker than the receivers and rail. Is that the duracoat “Magpul fde”?

Looks like a nice build. Make sure to post pics after it is complete!

Its Duracoat’s color match for Magpul FDE. It is indeed lighter than the furniture. You will also find that different batches of furniture from Magpul to be different shades even though it is supposed to be the same color.

Thank you! Will do!!

What muzzle device you going with?

Probably a Wilson Rapid-Thread for the Whisper suppressors.

Duracoat’s color lots seem to vary as well. I used to add a bit of multi dark brown to their “Magpul FDE” for a closer match, but I cannot recall the ratio. Brownell’s Aluma-Hyde in coyote is quite close to Magpul’s coloring and Cerakote’s Magpul FDE is damn near perfect.

How do you like the MW SS Gen 2?

I wasnt quite sure how I would like it until I held it at the gun shop. Its super light weight but still strong. I also like the customizable rail sections. Just make sure you loctite them on and leave them alone.

Went a different direction with a 16" .300blk.

nice rifle, love the colore
